About Dr. Schabacker

Dr. Lynn Schabacker grew up in El Paso, Texas and graduated from Veterinary School in 1987 from Texas A&M University. After working in Abilene, and San Angelo, she moved to the Fort Worth area in 1992 and has practiced small animal medicine and surgery in a variety of settings as a full time associate doctor and as a relief doctor, and started her own practice in 2013.  She has been living and practicing in the Eagle Mountain/Saginaw area for the past 18 years and currently lives in Saginaw. Her primary interests include pain management, preventative care, and nutrition.

Most recently Dr. Lynn became interested in other innovative methods of patient care and pursued that by studying and becoming certified in Veterinary Acupuncture through the Chi Institute. She also utilizes an adjusting technology called VOM (Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation) and uses a therapy laser for a wide variety of conditions.

"Both modern and ancient medical practice has provided us with the capability of many procedures and medicines to prevent, diagnose, and treat many conditions in our animal companions. And, animals have become closer to us in many ways, moving from the fields and barns, into our homes, becoming our friends and companions, a part of the family. My goal is to be an advisor, and healthcare provider to optimize your animal companions' health from birth onward".

"From modern technology to more ancient techniques such as acupuncture, I want to provide the best care possible, and if I can't, to refer you to someone who can, whether a full service clinic for other diagnostic or surgical procedures, or to a specialty referral practice, or emergency care facility".
